Tsuyoshi Wada
Director / Chief System Architect of Nippon Data Corporation

He is director of Nippon Data Corporation and Nippon Data Products Corporation as well as chief system architect. He is engaged as chief technology officer of Nippon Data group companies. His strong point is network related technologies such as establishing DAWN WebService, and UNIX-like systems establishment. He has diverse experiences and a tremendous career of developing EDI systems and designing database engines. He was born in Koiwa, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo in June 1969.
As for his management involvement, he has input into the company direction, such as the transition for Nippon Data Corporation to the holdings company. He navigates projects, not as a project unit but as group project as whole, trying to understand the project status and making adjustments. He is searching for what future software science is supposed to be as a skilful engineer. His approach is to speak with customers, understand their needs and help them realise their goals.
I would say I am not yet familiar with my position where my name is stated here as an engineer, but I would like to retain both viewpoints of engineer and director.
Having a sushi chef father, I was able to learn how to respond to and respect customers, pleasure and the harsh realities of having direct contact with them from my earliest childhood. This is a big factor in forming my current policies and I appreciate my parents for passing on these valuable experiences.
I would like to devote myself to seeking a reasonable interface between the world of craftsman and the world of business and taking satisfaction and pleasure from our customers' satisfaction and pleasure. Japanese artisan spirit is precious spiritual culture, and I strongly believe that our goal can not be achieved without it.
