HISTORY
UTN History
1988 - Nippon Data was founded by a high school student. Nippon Data International Group has been developing since then. Everything started from scratch. Now UTN group, a group of individuals joined by the key word "United Technologies", is gathering strength to leap forward.

Our policy has remained unchanged since our foundation. We have made our history together along with our policy. Our history tells not only of the growth of our company but also how our company and we ourselves should be.

1997 - We marked our 10th anniversary. During the 10 years, we had gathered various experiences and also some ideas had gone out of date. Changing trends and rapid growth led us to develop the existing CI and change our strategy. Companies which had been part of our group companies had become financially independent. At the juncture of the 10th anniversary, the founder made a decision to "release companies which can maintain self-dependence".

Many group companies have established business systems which are not dependent on the group assets with all the rights handed over from the founder to the CEO. Nippon Data Products and Nippon Data, which have been self-funding subsidiaries from the beginning, have established a new organisational planning and personnel system while keeping roles of technologies and managerial knowledge.

2001 - Nippon Data was re-organised as the holdings company. In order to adapt to the rapidly changing social needs, we have changed our strategy from vertical hierarchical power structure to flat power structure. Our business from now on? We have to build on the work we have done so far and work towards a successful future.
