Nippon Data Corporation (CEO : Tomoyuki Taniguchi / Kita-ku, Tokyo) announced that the conclusion of the domain registrar contract with United States eNOM Co. who is the ICANN(*1) member was completed aiming at the thing offered by the price in which the domain offer price in "DAWN WebService" that develops as part of the ISP business and the next business is stabilized.
The preparation for making a great price cut of the overseas domain acquisition cost done by "DAWN WebService" etc. achievement by this conclusion of a contract, turning the improvement and the reduction in costs of service to the user including correspondence to service for the consumer who became release by the project for the next term, and releasing it was complete at the same time.
Development in the world wide of the reaching domain offered service for the internationalization of the service that has already been achieved is promoted in "DAWN WebService", and the network solution and the network service that maximum uses the base in not only Japan but also each country are developed, and moreover, business concept of our company that presented in 2005, and two concepts "Strategic Domain" and "Corporate Discrimination" are promoted.

ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is standardization of the address resources such as IP Address, Domain Name and Port Number etc. used by the Internet and a worldwide private nonprofit organization that allocates it. As for the antecedent of this organization, ICANN was established in 1998, and, at the same time, the management of the address resource was transferred to ICANN though IANA(Internet Assigned Number Authority) had gone.
The eNOM is a registrar officially recognized from this ICANN, and the business is developed on a worldwide scale. (The thing for which our company applies to the ICANN member is not examined now.)
